Lights, Camera and Action! If you have a passion for television and is willing to learn while having a good time, this might be a once in a lifetime opportunity for you! To meet our business goals and challenges, TVB is organizing an Executive Trainee Programme for nurturing competent television professionals to contribute to the future development of TV industry. You will have a chance to go behind the scenes and take part in the inception of both drama and non-drama television programs. From planning to post-production and understanding how television content is transmitted to thousands of audiences in Hong Kong, you will be given a very holistic view on how the television industry function. Besides the production aspect, you will also rotate to other business functions which supports and makes the magic of television happen.

Successful candidates will undergo a two-year rotational training. They will be given a chance to gain hands-on experience in different business units, including Drama, Non-drama, Engineering, News, Marketing and Sales, Corporate Communication, Production Facilities, Programme, TVB International, My TV Super, TVB New Media Group, etc.

 

Eligibility

We are looking for outstanding final year students or recent graduates who fit the following requirements:

  • Passionate for a long-term career in the television industry
  • A master degree or first degree with honors in any subject with a GPA of 3 or above
  • Excellent command of written and spoken English and Chinese including Putonghua
  • Self-motivated, presentable, independent with excellent interpersonal skills
  • Proficient in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Chinese Word Processing
