(8 June 2023, Hong Kong) TVB has learnt that a man involved in the case of using the TVB News mobile application to send out abnormal push notifications in 2022 was convicted of criminal damage today. TVB expresses gratitude to the Hong Kong Police Force for their full investigation and welcomes the ruling.

The internet is not a lawless world. TVB reiterates its condemnation on all online and offline illegal activities, and will continue to render assistance to the Police in bringing criminals to justice.
